Everything Happens for a Reason

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there... to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.
And sometimes things happen to you that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, willpower or heart.
Nothing happens by chance or by means of good luck.

Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity..... all occurs to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere, safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.
The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones.
If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart to.
If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things.
Make every day count.

Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.
Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen.
Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high.
Hold your head up because you have every right to.

Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you.
Create your own life and then go out and live it..

Don’t be afraid to express yourself

There was once a guy who suffered from cancer... a cancer that can’t be treated. He was 18 years old and he could die anytime. All his life, he was stuck in his house being taken care by his mother. He never went outside but he was sick of staying home and wanted to go out for once.
So he asked his mother and she gave him permission. He walked down his block and found a lot of stores. He passed a CD store and looked through the front door for a second as he walked. He stopped and went back to look into the store. He saw a young girl about his age and he knew it was love at first sight. He opened the door and walked in, not looking at anything else but her. He walked closer and closer until he was finally at the front desk where she sat. She looked up and asked “Can I help you?” She smiled and he thought it was the most beautiful smile he has ever seen before and wanted to kiss her right there.
He said “Uh...yeah... umm... I would like to buy a CD.” He picked oneout and gave her money for it. “Would you like me to wrap it for you?” she asked, smiling her cute smile again. He nodded and she went to the back. She came back with the wrapped CD and gave it to him. He took it and walked out of the store. He went home and from then on, he went to that store everyday and bought a CD, and she wrapped it for him. He took the CD home and put it in his closet. He was still too shy to ask her out and he really wanted to but he couldn’t. His mother found out about this and told him to just ask her. So the next day, he took all his courage and went to the store.
He bought a CD like he did everyday and once again she went to the back of the store and came back with it wrapped. He took it and when she wasn’t looking, he left his phone number on the desk and ranout...!!!RRRRRING! !!
The mother picked up the phone and said, “Hello?” It was the girl!!!She asked for the boy and the mother started to cry and said, “You don’t know? He passed away yesterday...” The line was quiet except for the cries of the boy’s mother. Later in the day. the mother went into the boy’s room because she wanted to remember him. She thought she would start by looking at his clothes. So she opened the closet. She was face to face with piles and piles and piles of unopened CDs. She was surprised to find all those CDs and she picked one up and sat down on the bed and she started to open one.
Inside, there was a CD and as she took it out of the wrapper, out fella piece of paper. The mother picked it up and started to read it.
It said: “Hi... I think you’re really cute. Do u wanna go out withme?” Love, Jacelyn. The mother opened another CD...again there was a piece of paper. It said: “Hi...I think you’re really cute. Do you wanna go out with me?” Love, Jacelyn.
So dear friends....If you love somebody.... .say it loud to her/him..... before it passes away.
Remember to always say what you mean. If you love someone, tell them. Don’t be afraid to express yourself. Reach out and tell someone what they mean to you. Because when youdecide that it is the right time, it might be too late.

Most bitter goodbyes

The most bitter goodbyes, are the ones that leaves two people with unspoken thoughts and unexpressed emotions. Over time, it evolves into a grudge. Then, there is a point where both persons forget why it is that such a thing occurred, all they could recall is the frustrations that rooted from such an end. Before you leave, put your two cents in. Throw it all out onto the table, and let the other person decide on what they want to do with it.

Stop Waiting

Don’t settle for anything less than someone who loves you. Don’t love when you’re lonely, love when you’re ready. Don’t think that it happens all the time, either. Holding hands while walking down a high school hallway isn’t love. Real love is hard to come by, but it comes. Maybe not for a while, but it shows up at some point. All of us are loved, but sometimes that person you want isn’t in your life yet. Don’t worry. They will be. Stop waiting for it.

Life is too short to waste....

In the end, it’s still best to wait for the one we want rather than settle for what’s available. It’s still best to wait for the one you love rather than to settle for the one who’s around. It’s still best to wait for the right person, because life’s too short to waste on the wrong one.
